Casa Lux is a dramatic light-filled dwelling in Tumkuru, situated on an eastern road beside a coconut grove to the north. Designed to meet the client's needs, it balances formal spaces that open to landscaped areas with informal spaces that open to courtyards. The accommodation spans three levels—ground, first, and a partial second floor—interconnected by sculptural stairs and light wells. The design follows two main axes: the N-S axis for movement and circulation, and the E-W axis for courts and open spaces, transitioning between private and public areas. Open, semi-open, and enclosed spaces blend the site with the structure, incorporating nature seamlessly.
